How would you like soldiers to come to your village, make your parents dig their own graves and make you, age 11, fill them in after watching them murdered? Then carry guns all day, get raped all night and fed a half cup of rice if you're lucky. EVIL!

This site is dedicated to my father, Jim Boyce, who was with the State Department in Burma in the 1950's and spoke fluent Burmese. He returned to Burma in 1984 for the first time since the Communists had taken over the country three decades earlier. He passed away in Singapore from an illness contracted during that trip before returning to the United States.
